Yesterday I kept on killing him!
The only problem is that today he is always getting me.
(I’m going to get out of bed at 4.00 am and practice for the next couple of hours)!!!

It is nice that you are letting him win today. Elderly cardboard boxes are so easily discouraged. Then you would be totally cardbored!
… or you could stay up all night fixing DaddyP’s game controller so his power beam is disabled …

May I suggest a break from Metroid and perhaps a jaunt (or two) with one my all time favorites, Ninja Gaiden?
Good plan on that getting up at 4:00 am. There’s no waaaay someone as old as he is could ever stay up that late.
